This activity will help you both understand where money comes from and where it goes.<\/h1>\n\n\n<h2>Materials Needed:<\/h2>\n<h1>\u2022\tLarge poster board or paper <\/br>\n\t\u2022\tMarkers or colored pencils<\/br>\n\t\u2022\tStickers or post-it notes (optional for added fun!)<\/h1>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2>How to Play<\/h2>\n<h2>1.\tSet Up Your Board:<\/h2>\n\tDraw a vertical line down the middle of the poster board.<\/br>\n\nLabel the left side \u201cMoney Sources\u201d and the right side \u201cExpenses.\u201d <\/br>\n\n\t<\/br>\n<h2>2.\tList Money Sources:<\/h2>\n\tOn the left side, write down where money comes from, such as: <\/br> <\/br>\n\n\n\t\u2022\tAllowance <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tExtra chores <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tGifts <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tSavings <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tScholarships <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tLoans <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tCredit card rewards <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tDental rewards <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\t529 plan <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tRoth IRA <\/br>\n\n\tFeel free to add your own money sources! <\/br>\n\n<\/br>\n\t<h2>3.\tIdentify Expenses:<\/h2>\n\tOn the right side, list typical education and childcare expenses, like: <\/br> <\/br>\n\n\n\t\u2022\tSchool tuition <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tTextbooks <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tSupplies <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tLunch money <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tAfter-school programs <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tChildcare <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tTutoring <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tEducational apps <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tField trips <\/br>\n\n\t\u2022\tUniforms <\/br>\n\n\t<\/br>\n<h2>4.\tConnect the Dots:<\/h2>\n\tUse different colors to draw lines from each expense to its source of funding.
